Action Force Stunts was founded in 2018 by stunt professional Anthony Ferri. As our lead Stunt Coordinator, Anthony explores unique ways to design, build and execute stunts.
Our action force extends with our partnered action services in animal wrangling, picture car coordination, transportation services, and Makeup FX, plus our network of uniquely talented ACTRA Stunt Performers and experienced ACTRA Riggers. Anthony Ferri | Founder, Stunt Coordinator
Anthony handles our Stunt Coordination from start to finish working directly with your production team, crew, and talent. An insurable Coordinator with over 25 years of ACTRA experience as a Key Rigger, Stunt Performer, and Stunt Coordinator. Anthony designs and builds complex custom rigging solutions, he is a master at wire work, and has keen attention to safety and efficiency.
Anthony’s Fight Choreography has been developed from his 30 years of kickboxing and martial arts training, including Kali Arnis Escrima, Kung Fu, Wing Chun, and Muay Thai. A world-class fighter with weapons and open-hand techniques, Anthony has represented Canada in Full Contact Arnis competitions in LA and Spain.
He is an expert at collaborating with and coaching actors and other talents. Anthony has doubled for many high-profile actors, including Berry Perry’s lead double in Netflick’s feature film Trigger Point. Other stars include Ian Somerhalder, Frank Grillo, James Cann, Robbie Amell, Chris Evans, and Michael Cera, to name a few.
Alicia Anning | Partner, Marketing & Operations
Alicia manages our Marketing and the Operations of Action Force Stunts. She keeps our team running efficiently and effectively with over 12 years of experience in ACTRA commercial, Film and TV production project management.
Alicia developed her skills by managing integrated marketing campaigns and executing broadcast commercial productions at creative advertising agencies. She holds a B.B.A. Marketing, Advertising Diploma, and recently completed her Project Management Certification.
Mark Schnider | Expert Stunt Rigger, Animal Wrangler
Mark takes the lead when the action requires animal performers instead of humans. Mark has over 30 years of experience coordinating animal action on sets safely and effectively. As a wrangler of all animals, Horse wrangling is his specialty, with many years spent with The Calgary Stampede.
Mark’s expertise as a Stunt Rigger is rooted in experience from a wide range of impressive disciplines; a high angle-confined and space Rescue Rigger, heli-skiing as a professional Ski Patroller, a SCUBA PADI Dive Master, and a Red Seal Journeyman Welder. Mark has the know-how to build safe rigging designed to execute extreme stunts in extreme conditions
